Just a very brief post to let you know we got back from the trek in one piece, and in good health. We'll post our full account tonight and fill you in on the adventure!
Also, I've just discovered an ethernet cable in our room, so the PC will be left to chew through the 400 (2GB) odd picture backlog for the next 24 hours - appreciate it's a lot to look through, but there's some good ones!

Hello both. Glad to hear you've returned from your adventure. Am sure your tale [and pics] will be worth the wait!! Arctic weather on the way here....you must wish you were here eh? Want to buy a City season ticket for £5??? Take care both. Speak soon. Dad
Me again....Quick Q; Have viewed latest pics. Do all Peruvian men go out wearing a dress? Not sure it would catch on here. Miranda...PLEASE don't let James even try it. Thanks. Dad
Hello both. Just viewed all of the photos. Some really good and evocative shots. Trek looks really good. Locals seem so natural and dare I say 'pleasant'; shame so many miserable people back here! I like the shot of James amid a table full of locals, and the shot of Miranda with the lamb and locals. Sometimes taking so many shots can be a pain, but - you'll remember so much more, and who'd want to forget any of what you've seen so far? Take care. Dad
Sounds ruddy freezing at home, I've seen they cut the odds for a White Xmas. Not that warm in Cusco either, at night especially.
Don't worry RE dresses, that was some guys squeezing into the girls only happy hour at a hostel in Lima.
Well done to Mum and Rob at beating Dad... gotta be quick on the buzzer!
We're now 100% up to date on the photo front, so feel free to peruse... so glad we got them up all to date!
Anyway, off to the market for some cheap (70p) grub - 2 plates of it!
