Merry Christmas to you all!

We'd like to wish everybody a fantastic Christmas day, and a wonderful festive season. Thanks to those that have already sent their regards, I was hoping to make this post yesterday, but the internet in the Hotel went down - probably due to me downloading Christmas films on their connection :o)

Today we have a real array of things to watch, Home Alone, Elf, Bad Santa, then to add some depth in case we get bored we also have Spirited Away (Miranda hates animation... hoping it will change her mind), and Requiem for a Dream. Other things on the agenda are a Jaccuzi bath, an perhaps a swim... and obviously Skyping everyone that's online!

We're just going to have breakfast, but if you can make yourselves known online, whether it's to talk, or just so we can watch you eat a traditional English Christmas dinner, we really don't care!

Happy Christmas!

Hello both. Sorry we didn't get a connection yesterday, but nice to talk to you today. Christmas Day would probably be the one major test on your 6-month adventure, glad you've got through it ok. Everyone missed you yesterday and sent their best wishes. Enjoy the rest of your Hotel stay and charge those batteries for the next stage. Take care both. love from Dad and Jack and everyone else. xxx

Hi Both
It was lovely to talk to you yesterday and we missed having you here. We managed to get the dinner on the table without Miranda's wonderful organisational skills but it was not the same. Glad you are enjoying the hotel and look foward as always hearing the next part of your adventure. All our love, Mum, Dad, Claire Louise, Natalie and Lily xxxxxxxxxx

Hi both. James - City's 2-1 win over the Blades was a great ad' for Champ football, we're now 4th with a game in hand. Heads up for Top Gear. This week they are doing a 'Bolivian Special'- including the 'Death Road', you must have missed them by a couple of days. Can you get the BBC I-Player to stream in SA?
